The Rationale for Team Building Concept
Team building was originally a group process intervention aimed at improving interpersonal relations and social interactions, but over time has developed to include achieving results, meeting goals and accomplishing tasks. It refers to the activities in which teams can engage to change its context, composition or team competencies to improve performance. Staff Qualification and Experience: The Lesotho Durham Link has highly qualified staff/instructors in outdoor activities qualified to British standards and MLTB (Mountain Leader Training Board) in the UK and in authentic leadership development and financial management. We are one of the few organizations in Lesotho to use outdoor and adventure activities to develop team building skills. We have worked with a number of organisations, schools and companies, running courses for their staff or students based on their request. Our courses are tailor made in order to respond to your needs or your desired goals, also we collaborate with other organisations where there is a need of expertise that we do not have or we cannot offer. Our past experience is that activities reveal a number of things whereby the approach SWOT and SMART analysis become automatic as we go along.
